About sHilpi

Named ‘Shilpi’ which translates to ‘Artist’ in Sanskrit, Shilpi Tuli does full justice to the name, as she truly is an artist beyond boundaries.

Shilpi is a self taught artist,who learnt how to play around with different mediums and materials, purely out of her passion for learning and creating, not flawlessly but endlessly.

“Over a period of time, I realised that boundaries exist only in our mind. Having been born to and also married into an army family,I’ve lived in several cities, small towns and the very interiors all over India, moving every few years ,with a constant feeling of being unsettled.I had to reinvent myself from scratch everywhere I went, but this never held me back as my passion for creativity and art is limitless”.

Over the last two and a half decades, Shilpi has created and specialised in 2-d murals, wall installation, customised art, involving mediums like metal, wood, siporex, ceramics and acrylic.She has created customised murals and accessories for the interiors of reputed hotels, clubs, corporate offices and home all over India.

In May 2015 ,Shilpi joined JJ School of art, which is where she was introduced to ceramics and she found the medium to be as boundless as her own mind.

In 2016, she launched her ceramic jewellery line, which is all about creating statements with style.

Be it Interiors or fashion, Shilpi loves creating statements.Her style of work is modern and minimalistic with a structured chaos .
